Deep Kapoor indrahara trek

Deep Kapoor a tribes man from Chamba valley was born in Rakkar ( Sidhbari )Village, located in the Dharamshala Kangra Valley in Himachal Pradesh, and educated at Government High School Ghaniaya in Himachal Pradesh. The school encouraged the outdoor spirit in its students and it was here that Deep’s love for the mountains was forged, trekking and climbing in the Kangra Valley during his school holidays. Deep’s experience now spans the Himalaya, from Garhwal, Himachal, Ladakh, and Zanskar.

In 1994, Deep moved to Ladakh guided the tourist when Ladakh sector was unexplored. He spend 5 years in Ladakh and gain lot of knowledge about culture, trails and many more. Besides mountaineering and trekking, Deep is an experienced tour manager. Deep is now Director for Himalayan Quest.

 

 

 

 

Moonaindrahara trek

Moona was born in Rakkar ( Sidhbari ) had shepherd on his earlier days now a back bone for Himalayan Quest. On his earlier days he spent most of time on mountains. He has rich knowledge on trails from Punjab, Kangra, Chamba and upto Lahoul & Spiti. He plays excellent flute. You can amazing Himalayan bird is singing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carlindrahara trek

Carl is an Australian nature lover who grew up around the calm beaches and bushlands of the famous Byron Bay. He has always felt the mountains calling him, and has ofcourse found his second home here in the Himalayas. Here he lives out his passions of adventuring and exploring, while helping people discover the beauty in these mountains and the beauty within themselves. His calm, caring spirit, combined with his hard working farming background make him a deeply valued guide of Himalayan Quest, representing all the values we love and strive for.

About the founder, S.C. Kapoor

With seven years experience of working with leading travel companies in India, Sansar decided to found his own trekking company "Himalayan Quest" in 2004.Since then he has organised packaged tours, adventure treks, rafting, skiing, jeep safari’s with groups of varying sizes.

He has vast experience of assisting researchers and scientists comprising of geologists, glaciologists, anthropologists and geographers from different universities and research organizations like JNU, Cincinnati University USA, Montana State University USA, ISRO -SAC Ahmedabad, DST, from abroad and India.

He himself is a trained mountaineer and skier. He has successfully completed Basic and Advanced Mountaineering and skiing Courses from DMAS-Manali.

He himself being an indigenous 'gaddi' tribesman from Chamba region of the Himachal and settled in Kangra valley in Dharamshala, he has mountaineering in his blood and knowledge of every trail in the region.

With an in depth knowledge of physiography, flora- fauna, culture and herbs he can tell you everything about hidden treasures of the Himalayan beauty.
