Having great interest in Buddhist philosophy Olga first came to India as a pilgrim for the Dalai Lama Teachings in 2004. She was charmed by Dharamsala, the place of residence of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and by the Himalayas with its majestic views. Since then she started studying Buddhism deeper and deeper which led her to studying Tibetan language and culture.
Being very grateful to Indian people for many things, like care for Tibetan refugees in need and being respectful to them for faith loyalty, kindness, hospitability, sense of humor and inner peace she started being interested in Indian culture too. Her new Indian friends impressed her even more as nature-born singers and dancers.
The second pilgrimage to India brought her to a more serious relations - a partnership with one of her friends Sansar Chand Kapoor, who is no doubt very professional and reliable. It made her dream come true – to share the beauty and the special energy of the Himalayas with Russian people.
Having graduated from Pomor State University as a teacher of English Olga has been teaching English for 15 years developing multi-cultural knowledge, communication and language skills. Now her current activity is being a Himalayan Quest representative in Moscow.
As the part of the Himalayan Quest team she assists Russian groups of tourists as a travel agent, a guide and an interpreter. With a friendly and respectful attitude she could be helpful in a number of ways from providing clients with detailed information about travel options to language and documents assistance.
